This Tuesday we’re congratulating Emily deBeaubien, Aubrey Cronin, Brooklynn Tomczak, Hadley Decker, Alyssa Sherman, Amoun Bergstresser, and Angela Nix of Troop 13050 on earning their Bronze Award. The troop raised funds and gathered cleaning supplies and other necessary items for the women’s shelter HOME of Mooresville. When they were unable to finish fundraising at school due to COVID, they stuck to it and used their cookie proceeds to go shopping for any remaining items. Way to go!

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P), is one of the 111 councils from across the nation that delivers the Girl Scout program, serves nearly 12,000 girls in central and western North Carolina. With the support and guidance of nearly 6,000 volunteers, girls in grades K-12 are given opportunities for fun and friendship, while fostering the development of leadership skills and self-esteem. It is a safe environment for girls to engage in activities while they discover more about themselves and the community around them, connect with others and take action to the make the world a better place.
