GSCP2P Website Migrating to New Platform
Our council marketing team is currently preparing to migrate our GSCP2P website to a new platform that will heighten the visual aspect of our mission and offer robust sections for our girls, volunteers and potential members. The new layout will be similar to the Girl Scouts of the USA website.
The official launch of the new site is planned for the week of July 17. Stay tuned for additional resources on what to expect from the new platform.
Council Committees Seeking Volunteers
Are you or someone you know interested in serving at the council level? If you have a special interest in travel, Highest Awards, older girl or adult programming, then a council committee may be for you!
One great opportunity coming up: GSCP2P will be hosting a GSUSA Destinations called Land of Waterfalls in the summer 2025. It will be based out of Camp Pisgah and focused on waterfalls and adventuring in western North Carolina. At this time, planning committee members are needed!

Reminder: End-of-Year Troop and Service Unit Reports
Don’t forget that these important year end reports are due by July 1. Troop leaders can find the Troop Year End Report on our website here. A helpful FAQ document is also available. The Service Unit Finance Report can be found on the hidden Service Unit Team Resources page of our website.

211 Resource Available
NC 211 is an information and referral service provided by United Way of North Carolina. Families and individuals in all 100 North Carolina counties can call to get free and confidential information on health and human services in their community. Available in most languages, NC 211 is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Upcoming Events- Solar Eclipse Party
Save the date for a super fun Solar Eclipse Party at Camp Pisgah in 2024! There will be space science programming designed to educate girls and their families about the solar eclipse. More information will be coming soon!
