New Website Launches This Week

The new council website, located at www.girlscoutsp2p.org, will be launching by the end of this week. The new site will feature sections for girls, volunteers and potential members and, while the layout will look different, all the same familiar content that is currently housed on our site will still be there. Stay tuned for upcoming tips and tricks to navigate this new site!

Council-wide Camp Out Event

We are so excited to be hosting a council-wide camporee event at Keyauwee Program Center in October! All troops are invited to attend, so be sure to get your spot now. The weekend will be filled with “game-themed” activities, opportunities to meet new friends and everyone’s favorite camp traditions. Meals throughout the weekend are provided and participants will also receive a Camp Out patch. You can find additional details and registration information here. 

Highest Awards Adult Session

Will you have girls looking to begin their Bronze, Silver or Gold Award projects this upcoming year? Join us for our virtual Highest Awards Adult Chat on July 27 to get your questions answered. This is the perfect session for both troop leaders and parents alike.

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P), is one of the 111 councils from across the nation that delivers the Girl Scout program, serves nearly 12,000 girls in central and western North Carolina. With the support and guidance of nearly 6,000 volunteers, girls in grades K-12 are given opportunities for fun and friendship, while fostering the development of leadership skills and self-esteem. It is a safe environment for girls to engage in activities while they discover more about themselves and the community around them, connect with others and take action to the make the world a better place.
