new partnership & patch design contest

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont is partnering with #HATNOTHATE, a non-profit campaign that launched in 2018 that encourages kindness through creativity, with a new patch program for girls that will begin in October 2023.

To launch the program in an exciting way, GSCP2P is hosting a patch design contest for the new patch program and asking girls to submit entries for a chance to have their design appear on the new patch.

When thinking of a design, girls should focus on the key elements of the patch program, which include ways to discover, connect and take action with kindness. The signature of the organization is the blue hats, which are made and distributed to youth across the country as a way to empower those who wear them to show kindness, as well as represent awareness, peace and solidarity in who they are.

Patch submissions are due by October 1 and can be sent in using this form. The winning design will be announced on October 7.
