JOIN US FOR A WEEKEND EVENT & OUTDOOR CONCERT TO CELEBRATE CAMP PISGAH
Are you ready to feel the camp magic with us? Camp Pisgah turns 70 this year, and we are celebrating big with a special family weekend at the property on October 7-8.
The weekend will include family camp activities from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. on Saturday, followed by a concert under the stars at 7 p.m. by band, Royal South. (Check out a sneak peek of lead singer SaraBeth’s song, Girl Scout Cookie Monster!)
Families are welcome to spend the night at Camp Pisgah Saturday night (Saturday lunch, dinner and Sunday breakfast can be included for an extra fee) or take advantage of one of the local hotels nearby.

The Riding-Instructor-in-Training (RIIT) program is a leadership and horsemanship development opportunity for Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors, and on Saturday, September 16, Circle C will be offering one of its volunteer orientations to girls who are interested in participating.
There will be two learning tracks throughout the day- one for new RIITs and one for returning RIITs. New RIITs will learn how to care for the Circle C horses, how to prepare for horse programs and how to assist during those programs, while returning RIITs will be working on more advanced skills.
Throughout the year, RIITS accumulate volunteer hours in the barn and help with a variety of horse-related programming. To register and for more information, please click here. DON’t miss the early bird deadline for leaderfest
Our annual Leaderfest weekend is happening at Camp Ginger Cascades November 3-5 and the Early Bird registration deadline is fast approaching! To save on your registration fees, be sure to register before Monday, September 4.
Leaderfest is a great time to renew licenses and connect with other Girl Scout volunteers- there is even a children’s program available that weekend! Find all the information here. The final registration deadline is October 16.
Hickory Council Shop Open This Saturday
The Hickory Council Shop will be open this Saturday, September 2 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. It’s a great time to get uniform pieces and any other gear you need for the new troop year!
