Stop in at any of our council shops (Asheville, Gastonia, Hickory and Triad Service Centers) from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. tomorrow, October 31, for some great deals on GSUSA apparel. We are also celebrating our founder’s birthday with a birthday-themed service project (see the graphic below for more information)!
Have a friend who wants to join Girl Scouts? Bring her with you between 4-6 p.m. so she can learn about all the fun of Girl Scouting. All new girls who register tomorrow will receive a special gift!
Join us at the cookie expo
Put your five skills to the test, make some creative bling for your troop’s cookie booths and get your sales pitches ready for the 2024 cookie program with other girls from across the council!
Girls will also have a chance to do a cookie taste test, build something amazing using only cookie boxes and will even get to meet our 2024 Girl Scout Cookie Program mascot, a real live axolotl. All girls will go home with some cookie swag, exclusive patch and a cookie toolkit to put to use during the program.
The Cookie Expo runs from 10 a.m.- Noon for Daisies, Brownies and Juniors and 1-3 p.m. for Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors. Girls can come with their troop or individually. The registration deadline is November 18 and cost is $10 per girl.
Last Call for Council Delegates
The deadline to fill out the application to serve as a council delegate is tomorrow, October 31. Delegates will represent their service unit at the April 13, 2024 Annual Meeting, as well as vote on any business matters.
