For over 40 years, Leaderee has been a beloved tradition that helps adult Girl Scout volunteers like you refuel your batteries and rediscover your passion for this important work. Take a break from your troop duties to enjoy two fun-filled days packed with engaging classes, delicious food and the company of fellow leaders who understand the joys and challenges of your role. Don’t let finances keep you from attending. Apply for the Ed Whitmire Scholarship by July 31. GSCP2P registered adults in good standing may apply for up to 50% off the base registration fee for Leaderee, plus up to 75% off the Camp License Course, First Aid/CPR Certification and Youth Mental Health First Aid.

Join Us at the Volunteer Conference
It’s your year to shine! Get ready to kick off the new Girl Scout year and join us at our annual Volunteer Conference in either Nebo or Lewisville. This one-day event held in two different locations will bring together volunteers from across our council to get inspired, connect and learn. Enjoy breakout sessions for a variety of levels and interest, an address from our CEO, council department updates, lunch, hands on learning and an opportunity to shop at our Girl Scout Pop Up Shop.
New Troop Spring Renewal Reward
We’re ready to help you with your back-to-troop needs! All troops that renew 75% of their members by July 31 will earn a $25 gift certificate to use at any GSCP2P Girl Scout Shop or on orders placed using the GSCP2P Girl Scout Shop form! Plus, your troop will be entered into a drawing and could win one of 10 customized troop banners. Renew your membership by logging in to your MyGS account!
Summer Scavenger Hunt Activity
Take advantage of the sunshine and explore the beauty of nature this summer! We are kicking off an outdoor scavenger hunt that will run through September 10, giving girls the opportunity to explore the world outside in new and exciting ways. From creating outdoor art to identifying plants to taking photos, girls can check off items on the scavenger hunt list, and once complete, receive a prize for all their hard work*.
Girls can complete the scavenger hunt on their own or with friends. To get started and to receive the official scavenger hunt guide, all girls must complete this form.
*Prizes can be picked up at one of our four service center locations during regular store hours.
New STEM Van Hits the Road Soon
Thank you to Piedmont Natural Gas and the Duke Energy Foundation for the generous support and gift of $8500 for the wrapping and future interior upfit of our new GSCP2P STEM Van. This van will allow us to bring STEM to girls in all parts of our council and we can’t wait to hit the road! Stay tuned for more details once our interior upfit is complete.
Don’t Miss out on Summer Camp
It has been a wildly fun summer so far- and our first session of summer camp at Camp Ginger Cascades kicks off this week! We still have some spots available for our summer camp programs and we can’t wait for you to join us! All of our overnight campers in grades 6 and up will get to enjoy field trips related to their camp program’s theme. If your girl would like to stay close to home, we are also hosting an Equine Experience Day Camp at our Circle C Equestrian Center in Sophia for all girls in grades 2-5!
