A Message From the CEO
Dear GSCP2P Family:
I am so proud to see Girl Scouts connecting with their communities and taking action to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts. In addition to our vetted list of organizations to donate to, GSUSA has lifted the fundraising ban to support our council as we continue to deal with the effects of Hurricane Helene. Per Blue Book requirements, our National CEO Bonnie Barczykowski and National President Noorain Khan have approved a three-month lift of our organization’s fundraising ban. Girl Scouts may now raise funds through December 30, 2024. If you have any questions regarding fundraising, please send them to info@girlscoutsp2p.org.
Thank you for letting your Girl Scout spirit shine bright. We know Girl Scouts are ready to take action- and, together, we can connect to make a positive impact. Our GSCP2P Events Facebook group is going to be a great resource to discover what efforts are being planned locally by fellow Girl Scouts. More opportunities to support relief efforts through our council will be shared as they become available, including our forthcoming One P2P giving campaign.

Jennifer Wilcox, CEO

Fall Product Program Updates
- Our Product Program team has worked with our Fall Product vendors to extend the online sales direct ship components of the Fall Product Program (direct ship candies/nuts, magazines, personalized stationary products, tumblers and Bark Boxes) for an additional two weeks with a new deadline of November 25.
- Deadlines for girl-delivered candies and nuts (for sales taken both online for girl-delivery and in-person using the candy/nut order card) will stay the same, as over the road delivery and distribution dates have already been confirmed with third party trucking companies. Existing timelines are October 21 for order card sales and October 26 for online girl-delivery sales.
Being a sensitive and compassionate entrepreneur is important:
- Please do not ask any friends and family facing tragedies and hardship to make purchases.
- Brainstorm with your troop on how to delegate some Fall Product proceeds for good. Set goals and create a plan – then explain to your customers how their purchase will be used for good.
57th National Council Session
GSCP2P’s National Delegates will meet virtually by special session on October 19 to discuss the need to increase membership dues to support a strong and sustainable national organization and key initiatives to benefit girls and volunteers. Please share your feedback and considerations on the proposed membership increase as our delegates prepare for this meeting.
