A Message From the CEO
Dear GSCP2P Family:
It’s difficult to find the words to describe the hurt, devastation and loss caused by Hurricane Helene. It’s even more difficult to face the aftermath of the destruction while coming to terms with the new reality in western and central North Carolina. Thousands of our members and so many of our WNC neighbors are grappling with the loss of loved ones, homes, pets, businesses – even entire communities that are no longer with us.
It’s been one week since the storm forever changed our lives, and we’re just beginning to understand the gravity of this life-changing situation and how to move forward, but we know our Girl Scouts and their families need sisterhood, normalcy and consistency now more than ever.

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont will be establishing a One P2P Fund to support our staff, Girl Scouts and volunteers. This campaign will provide staff relief, membership and troop support as well as uniform replacement for the GSCP2P council. Distribution decisions will be made by the Fund Development Committee, which includes Board members, staff and volunteers.
The power of sisterhood can, and will, allow our organization to provide strength and stability to our girls and their families as they recover, regroup and find a new way forward. Thank you for all you are continuing to do to support your fellow Girl Scouts and their communities, and please stay tuned as we start to share more ways you can aid in these efforts.
Sincerely,

Jennifer Wilcox, CEO

Fall Product Program Rewards

Have you created your M2 account and personalized avatar? You can earn two personalized patches featuring your avatar! Participate in our Fall Product Program today to learn business skills while raising funds for amazing Girl Scout experiences this year. Learn more about our Fall Product Program and get started by creating your M2 account.
Being a sensitive and compassionate entrepreneur is important:
- Please do not ask any friends and family facing tragedies and hardship to make purchases.
- Brainstorm with your troop on how to delegate some Fall Product proceeds for good. Set goals and create a plan – then explain to your customers how their purchase will be used for good.
- NEW! You can now promote our community troop Fall Product link. Proceeds from these Fall Product purchases will go directly to supporting Girl Scouts in our council who were affected by Hurricane Helene.

Junior Horseback Riding Workshop

There is no other sport that requires you to know so much about your “equipment” as horseback riding! Our two-part hybrid badge workshops are designed to cover a ton of horse knowledge virtually before your Girl Scout Juniors arrive in person at Circle C Equestrian Center, giving them a chance to feel more prepared and confident in their riding time. Once you register your troop, a member of the Circle C Equestrian Center staff will reach out to set a day and time for your troop’s virtual “visit,” scheduled before your in-person visit. This 90-minute Zoom meeting with the Circle C Equestrian Center and your Girl Scout Troop will fulfill several badge requirements. Register your troop for one of our upcoming workshops in October.
Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings

We are excited to announce our virtual New Leader Office Hours Enrichment Series . Our staff will offer tips and trainings for topics like conflict management, troop structure, multi-level management, Girl-Led Progression and more! Each session will have time for suggestions and a Q&A. These sessions are designed with new leaders in mind, but all are welcome to join us in our journey to build the best leaders in our 40-county footprint!
Use the Fall Product Program as a catalyst for further discovery by earning additional Financial Literacy badges. And, while badges go on the front of the uniform, you can also adorn the back of your uniform with the Business Cents patches.

Make sure your activities comply with our Safety Activity Checkpoints! Find Safety Activity Checkpoints, Troop Driver Request Form, Activity and Travel Application and other helpful resources for your year of adventure on our Forms and Documents page.
