Shop Updates

The Triad Shop will be closing early today, Monday, October 14, at 4 p.m.

As mentioned in our State of the Council meeting, we will be sundowning the brick-and-mortar Girl Scout Shop in Gastonia in the next 30 days. This shift will allow us to have a dedicated staff member to deliver more robust mobile shop opportunities. Bring the Girl Scout Shop to you and Request a Troop Uniform Shop event for uniform fittings at your meeting location or request a Pop Up Shop for service unit meetings, troop meetings and local Girl Scout events!

The Asheville Service Center and Shop will remain closed this week.

State of the Council Meeting Recap

Thank you to all who joined me for last week’s State of the Council meeting to learn about our Strategic Plan for Membership Year 2025-2027, Membership Year 2025 Budget, upcoming programming and the 57th National Council Session.

If you couldn’t attend our State of the Council meeting, you can watch a recording of the meeting here and find quick recap of the question and answer portion of the meeting here.

Together we welcome a new year of achievements, challenges and adventures. Thank you for being part of the GSCP2P family and supporting us as we continue to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Wilcox, CEO

Fall Product Program Rewards

October 26 is the last day to take online orders for candy/nut items that will be delivered by girls. If you haven’t participated in the Fall Product Program yet, it is not too late to start! Join in the fun of learning business skills while earning funds for amazing Girl Scout experiences this year! Learn more about our Fall Product Program and get started by creating your M2 account

Being a sensitive and compassionate entrepreneur is important:

  • Please do not ask any friends and family facing tragedies and hardship to make purchases.
  • Brainstorm with your troop on how to delegate some Fall Product proceeds for good. Set goals and create a plan – then explain to your customers how their purchase will be used for good.
  • NEW! You can now promote our community troop Fall Product link. Proceeds from these Fall Product purchases will go directly to supporting Girl Scouts in our council who were affected by Hurricane Helene.

Congratulations to last week’s Fall Product Program top sellers! The Girl Scout who sells the most items in total dollar sales by the end of the program will win a jumbo elephant plush.
