Today’s Tips 12.23.24

Happy Holidays

The GSCP2P Staff wish our Girl Scout families a safe and happy winter holiday season. Thank you for joining us as we make a positive impact for girls and their communities through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and the many amazing volunteers that bring it to life.

All service centers and shops are closed Monday, December 23 – Wednesday, January 1. Normal hours will resume on Thursday, January 2.

Tell Us Your 2024 Highlights

Where did Girl Scouting take you this year? Use our Girl Scout News Form to submit your photos and story about a service project, field trip or other experience for a chance to be featured on our social media!

Sing in the New Year

Learn new songs and share favorites with fellow Girl Scouts! All girls in grades K-12 and adults are invited to join us as we “Sing in the New Year” with a Singalong Session on Saturday, January 4 in Hickory (virtual attendance is also available). Girl Scouts grades 6-12 and adults are invited for a sleepover for extra fun, friends and songs. Save your spot by December 30- we can’t wait to sing with you!

Join Our Herd

For a limited time, girls can snag a cute t-shirt and an adorable horse plushie for just $20, while adults can grab their stylish horse shirts for only $25. Preorders are due by January 3 and shirts are available in Youth S-XL and Adult S-5X.

January Mobile Shop Savings

Did you know you can bring the Girl Scout Shop to you? Request a Troop Uniform Shop event for uniform fittings at your meeting location or request a Pop Up Shop for service unit meetings, troop meetings and local Girl Scout events!

Schedule your next mobile shop event for now through January 30 and get 10% off orders of $25 or more!

Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings

It is officially Girl Scout Cookie time! Have you had a goal-setting conversation with your Girl Scouts? Families are much more supportive if they know where the cookie proceeds go- the same goes for customers and other members of your community! To give guidance while still allowing for a girl-led experience, ask your Girl Scouts to brainstorm and work as a team to select at least one service project and one fun activity. Once you’ve shared your troop’s vision, let the adults know what the goal means for their girl. Then, ask girls to get creative and design a poster that advertises their goal to customers.
