Holiday Closings

All service centers and shops are closed Monday, December 23 – Wednesday, January 1. Normal hours will resume on Thursday, January 2.
Happy New Year

2024 was filled with memories! This year our council celebrated over 300 Girl Scouts earning a Highest Award and collectively contributing over 12,000 hours of community service. We honored 28 volunteers with National Awards and many others for their dedication and years of service at our Annual Meeting. We hosted over 500 campers at summer camp and another 2,000 visitors at camp throughout the year. Over 4,000 Girl Scouts participated in our entrepreneurship programs and helped us donate over 23,000 Girl Scout Cookies through our council service project.
Our members inspire us at every step and are the heart of our organization. We thank you for allowing us to serve and support you, but we also thank you for joining us in our mission and taking action to make our communities a better place.
We are so excited for the fun, friends, adventure and learning ahead in 2025!

Patch of the Month: Dark Skies

This patch will help you understand the importance of dark skies and how you can protect this resource. You will learn about light pollution, see the effect of light pollution yourself, learn how you can make changes to reduce light pollution and share what you have learned with others. Download the activity guide and get started earning this patch!
Sweet Rewards
Initial cookie orders arrive next week! Ask your Troop Cookie Manager for date, time and location.
Did you know you could win an ice cream party for your troop and earn a patch by participating in Walk-About Week January 11-19? Have more fun and decorate a wagon or anything that can carry cookies when participating in the walk-about. Then, take a picture of you (in uniform or identifiable as a Girl Scout) with your wagon and submit it by January 27 at bit.ly/2025walkabout.

All photos received will be placed in a drawing and two entries will be drawn to win a Walmart gift card to be used for an ice cream party for the troop. Photos will be used to promote the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Only one photo should be submitted per girl.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program isn’t just packed with business skills- you can earn patches, free admission to various attractions, panda apparel, outdoor gear and even a Stellar Seller weekend experience in Charlotte, NC! Plus, your Girl Scout Cookie proceeds can fund Girl Scout experiences and be used to purchase troop supplies. Learn more about the Girl Scout Cookie Program and get started today!
