Valentines From Camp
We know that this year has come with unique challenges and that summer camp is needed now more than ever. We want to make sure all Girl Scouts can get outside and join us for time unplugged making friends and trying new activities that build their confidence. After reviewing surveys and listening to your feedback, we are excited to extend a special Valentines offer and share more details regarding our transportation assistance.

Register for any full-week overnight summer camp session on Friday, February 14 and save $50! No code is needed- only a $50 deposit is required to hold your spot. Additional Financial Aid and WNC Transportation Assistance forms will become available after registering with your deposit. Financial assistance is confidential and camp staff do not know who receives aid. Last year, campers who applied for financial assistance received an average of $280 to use on registration fees.
To ensure that every member has the opportunity to participate in our summer camp programs this year at Keyauwee Program Center, GSCP2P will be offering free transportation assistance from our Asheville and Hickory Service Centers for select weeks of camp! We will be offering direct transportation assistance for full-week campers during Renaissance Revival week (June 22-27, 2025) and Magnificent Makers week (July 27-August 1, 2025). To sign up for this FREE service, register your camper for one of these two sessions through Campwise. Campers will be transported in either council-owned vans or charter buses, depending on interest and availability. Check In and Check Out itineraries for Asheville and Hickory can be found below.

Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings
Girl Scout Week is a time when we shout our Girl Scout pride from the rooftops! It’s also a time when many troops celebrate the connections between Girl Scouting and their faith, learn more about other faiths and thank faith partners for their support throughout the year. Girls can join in the festivities on three specially designated dates (or a day of your choosing):
Girl Scout Sunday: Sunday, March 9, 2025
Girl Scout Jummah: Friday, March 14, 2025
Girl Scout Sabbath: Friday, March 14 – Saturday, March 15, 2025

Use the Girl Scouts Celebrate Faith Toolkit and other faith-based resources to explore how the Girl Scout Promise and Law relate to your beliefs.
Everything in Girl Scouting is based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law, which includes many of the principles and values common across religions. So while we are a secular organization, Girl Scouts has always encouraged girls to take spiritual journeys via their faiths’ religious recognitions.
