Let’s Party- A Message from our CEO
Happy Girl Scout Week, One P2P family!
I hope you were able to kick off this week of celebration and excitement yesterday for Spirit Sunday by doing something kind in the spirit of Girl Scouts. Today is Affirmation Monday where we share a positive message with a friend – and one way you can do that is by sending Girl Scout love in a digital card, For the Love of Girl Scouts!

For $5, you can send Girl Scout love to a friend, family member or anyone else who needs a little extra love while contributing to our Girl Scout family affected by Hurricane Helene with membership and troop support. We’ll send your loved one a digital card, sharing your Girl Scout love with them, on our birthday this Wednesday, March 12! Today is the last day to personalize your card, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to send a message of kindness on Affirmation Monday.
Visit our blog to learn about the rest of the 2025 Girl Scout Week through Saturday, March 15. Discover ways you can participate each day, special events and even a Flat Juliette printable! I can’t wait to see Flat Juliette’s adventures, but I am even more excited to see where you’ll go through the power of the Girl Scout Movement. As our founder, Juliette Gordon Low, said, “Scouting rises within you and inspires you to put forth your best,” and I am truly grateful for the Girl Scouts, families, volunteers and staff that are working together to make the world a better place.
This Girl Scout Week, I reflect on the dedication and passion of our One P2P family and I thank you for being part of this sisterhood. I hope you will join me this April in celebrating the resiliency and uniqueness of Girl Scouting in our corner of North Carolina as we celebrate 15 years of Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont. Our Crystal Anniversary Weekend in Boone includes a College Tour and Bowling with the CEO event on Friday, April 25, and will culminate at Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 26. I look forward to updating you on important council business and hearing from our guest speaker, Kelly McCoy. Kelly is the founder of RiverGirl Fishing Company and will be sharing how she is supporting her community recovering from Hurricane Helene. You will be further inspired as we honor some of our amazing volunteers with national, Board-approved Girl Scout Recognitions after lunch. We know this will be a weekend you won’t want to miss and have added a carpool assistance planner if you would like to catch or share a ride. Head to our weekend activity guide and get ready for even more reasons to celebrate Girl Scouts!

Have a wonderful week of celebrations, and may you continue to be inspired to put forth your best and pave the way for future generations of Girl Scouts.
Sincerely,

Jennifer Wilcox, CEO
