Join Us at Day Camp
We’re thrilled to share some exciting news—this year, our day camp is coming to your community! If you love adventure, discovery and everything Girl Scouts, our day camp is ideal for you. The camp will be available for select weeks in Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Gastonia, running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Campers will receive an email with a packing list and necessary forms to bring along.
Community Day Camp:
- Gastonia: June 23-27 or July 7-11
- Winston-Salem: July 14-18
- Greensboro: July 21-25
For all girls in grades 1-5! Get ready for a week bursting with excitement, discovery and thrilling challenges at our day camp! Each day takes campers on an exhilarating journey to a new world, where they can let their imaginations run wild and dive into their spirit of adventure.
Adventure Day Camp:

All girls in grades 6-12! Join us for the ultimate summer adventure where each day brings a new destination and a fresh experience! From the rush of whitewater rafting, to exploring treetops on a high-ropes challenge course, to the excitement of gliding through the city on a Segway tour, every day is packed with fun.

Family Camp Work Day
Calling all camp lovers to join us for Camp Family Work Days happening this May! Come spend the day with camp friends and help us with a variety of projects to help get Camp Pisgah and Camp Ginger Cascades back up and running. Typical activities include clearing trails, minor repairs and inventorying program areas. No special skills are needed. All Girl Scouts Kindergarten and up and their families are welcome and lunch will be provided.
In June we’re hosting a Camp Family Fun Day at Keyauwee. Everyone is invited to meet our summer staff and experience all of the program areas that will be open during summer camp! Take a dip in the pool, meet the horses at Circle C Equestrian Center and try out other favorite camp activities like boats, the nature center, arts & crafts, archery and the climbing wall!
Crystal Anniversary Weekend
All members are invited to join us at Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 26 as we gather in Boone to celebrate 15 years of our council, welcome our new Girl Board Members and recognize the amazing accomplishments of our volunteers. Our day of celebration will include lunch, guest speakers and a business meeting with important council updates. Find our weekend activity guide for Boone accommodations and attractions.
We’re expanding the fun to include two Girl Scout opportunities on Friday, April 25. Girl Scout Seniors, Ambassadors and volunteers are invited to a day of college exploration with Future Ready: P2P College Tour! Girls will start the day at the CCC&TI Watauga Campus before enjoying lunch at the Appalachian State University Dining Hall. The adventure continues with a guided tour of Appalachian State University, where you’ll get a firsthand look at campus life.
In the evening, everyone (girls in all grades and adults) is invited to join us for Birthday Bowling Bash with The CEO.
State of the Girl
Tickets are now available for our State of the Girl Gala honoring the highest achievements of our Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont Girl Scouts. Experience an inspiring evening at the Morganton Community House on Saturday, May 17 featuring a delicious dinner, an empowering guest speaker and a firsthand look at how Girl Scouts are shaping their communities with courage, confidence and character.
If you have earned a Girl Scout Bronze, Silver or Gold Award from March 16, 2024-March 15, 2025, you will receive an invitation as an honoree and an opportunity to showcase your project at the Leadership Expo. Girl Scout Silver and Gold Award honorees will receive discounted tickets.

Patch of the Month: Smile Squad
Review good dental habits, try oral health experiments, discover how hidden sugars can damage your teeth and learn about the importance of brushing and reading every day for a healthy body and mind. As you complete the requirements to earn the Smile Squad patch, you’ll also complete requirements toward other Girl Scout badges, including My Best Self, Snacks, Eating for You and Staying Fit. Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings
Looking for resources for a meeting, event, training or day camp? Look no further! Program Checkout Boxes are available for pickup at each service center and are designed to make Girl Scouting stress-free. Program Boxes include the supplies needed for a troop to complete the enclosed activity including an easy to follow activity guide. These boxes are rentals available for pickup at our service centers and all non-consumable supplies must be returned to GSCP2P. Complete your Program Check Out Box Reservation Request Form today!
