One P2P Assistance Still Available

We continue to check in with our communities affected by the recent wildfires, many of which are still trying to recover from Hurricane Helene. The One P2P fund remains dedicated to assisting our members with recovery and rebuilding.

Please reach out should you need support. This campaign provides staff relief, membership and troop support as well as uniform replacement for the GSCP2P council. Distribution decisions will be made by the Fund Development Committee, which includes Board members, staff and volunteers.

A Heartfelt Thank You

To my amazing P2P family,

I want to share my heart with you as I begin my next steps onto new adventures in Girl Scouting.

First – thank you seems inadequate to express the feelings of love and gratitude that I have for this council and its volunteers. You have been stalwart partners in our work for girls over the past four years – we have accomplished much together. Second – the team and I will be working closely over the next several weeks to ensure a smooth transition. We will have more details to share regarding this at Annual Meeting at the end of this month. Next – to the girls that have brightened my days – you are strong, smart, beautiful and worthy. You can and will do great things and change this world. I am honored and humbled to have witnessed a small part of your journey. Lastly – I am excited to share that I am not leaving the Girl Scout movement; my family and I are headed back to Florida where I will be joining the Citrus Council team as their CEO. Hopefully, we can all reconnect in Washington, D.C. at next year’s convention!

More to come soon…until then, thank you for continuing to be One P2P!
Sincerely,

Jennifer Wilcox, CEO

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month and we need your help thanking the amazing people who are helping us build girls of courage, confidence and character. It takes a village to raise future leaders, and today’s girls need a strong network of caring adults more than ever.

Here are a few ways you can say thank you to the Girl Scout volunteers in your life:

  1. Send a card! Make your own or download and customize our printable thank you cards.
  2. Get creative using our coloring sheet, DIY gift guide or by even writing a poem about how amazing your volunteer is!
  3. Find a gift from the Girl Scout Shop website, in one of our stores or by using our shop order form.
  4. Share a photo or memory that makes you feel thankful for your volunteer.
  5. Offer your time! Whether you lead an activity, coordinate snacks, manage logistics or jump in as the troop photographer, there are plenty of ways to show your appreciation in a way that makes a difference for the whole troop.
