Summer Camp Financial Aid Requests Due Friday
Our financial aid deadline for summer camp is April 18! We want every girl and Girl Scout to be able to attend camp regardless of their financial situation. Once you register for a program and pay a $50 non-refundable deposit, you will have access to our online financial aid application.
Receiving financial aid is confidential. Our camp staff do not know who receives financial assistance. Last year, campers who applied for financial assistance received an average of $280 to use on registration fees.

State of the Girl: Highest Awards Gala and $5,000 Gold Award Scholarship
When girls take the lead, big things happen! Everyone is invited to the State of the Girl Gala honoring the highest achievements of our Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont Girl Scouts. Experience an inspiring evening at the Morganton Community House on Saturday, May 17 featuring a delicious dinner, an empowering guest speaker and a firsthand look at how Girl Scouts are shaping their communities with courage, confidence and character.

If you have earned a Girl Scout Bronze, Silver or Gold Award from March 16, 2024-March 15, 2025, you should have received an invitation as an honoree that includes an opportunity to showcase your project at the Leadership Expo and a discounted ticket for Girl Scout Silver and Gold Award honorees. All eligible Gold Awardees should have also received communications regarding GSUSA’s $5,000 scholarship. One Girl Scout from our council will be awarded this scholarship for the amazing work accomplished through their Girl Scout Gold Award project. Applications close tomorrow, so make sure you don’t miss out on this opportunity.

Family Camp Work Day

Calling all camp lovers! Come spend the day with camp friends and help us with a variety of projects to help get Camp Pisgah and Camp Ginger Cascades back up and running. Typical activities include clearing trails, minor repairs and inventorying program areas. No special skills are needed, all Girl Scouts Kindergarten and up and their families are welcome and lunch will be provided.
In June we’re hosting a Camp Family Fun Day at Keyauwee. Everyone is invited to meet our summer staff, experience all of the program areas that will be open during summer camp and register for camp sessions on site! Take a dip in the pool, meet the horses at Circle C Equestrian Center and try out other favorite camp activities like boats, the nature center, arts & crafts, archery and the climbing wall!
