Closings This Week

The Asheville Girl Scout Shop will be closed this week. All Girl Scout Shops and Service Centers will be closed on July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Normal operating hours will resume at all locations on Monday, July 7.

Last Day to Claim Free Patch

Tomorrow is the last day of Spring Renewal! If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, you can login to your MyGS account to make sure you are set to join us for the 2025-2026 membership year. Youth members who renew their membership by June 30, 2025 will get a free Your Year of Adventure patch, but everyone can enjoy the year of adventure ahead!

If you are interested in continuing the upcoming Girl Scout year with a different troop or as an Independently Registered Girl Scout, our staff are here to help you find the best opportunities for you and your family. Reach out to us at info@girlscoutsp2p.org or 800-672-2148.

Choosing Summer Camp Adventures and Grizzly Bear Names

We have been loving the chance to Choose Your Own Adventure with campers this summer! We are also asking our overnight campers to help us name this year’s Fall Product mascot, the Grizzly Bear. Each week, campers are submitting their preliminary votes and all council members will help vote on the final name when the Fall Product program kicks off in September! Information on the Fall Product program and the rewards you can earn will be coming soon.

If you haven’t registered for summer camp yet, or want to learn more about our Multi-Week Discount, there is still time to join us! Check out our day, overnight and horse camp programs and register up to two weeks before the session start date. Camp is a place for all girls to feel welcome and grow through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and girls rising grades 1-12 can explore summer camp programs, including your friends that aren’t currently Girl Scouts!

GSCP2P Girl Advisory Board Applications Close Tomorrow

Want to meet other girls from your council? Do you have ideas about events or programs you would like to see our council offer? Then the Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont Girl Advisory Board (GAB) is for you!

Applications for 2025-2026 GAB members are open to Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors now through July 1, 2025. Learn more and apply for GAB today!

Vote For 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program Rewards

Meet the Black-Footed Ferret, our 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program Mascot! We want your vote for the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program rewards, so tell us your favorite picks for apparel, gadgets and more by July 15, 2025.

These rewards are just the beginning! In addition to these national rewards, more localized council awards will be added- plus, Girl Scouts in our council can earn Cookie Dough and Daisy Dollars. These credits can be used on purchases at any of GSCP2P’s shops or camp trading posts, for admission to council events, for summer camp fees and even used to help you travel through council-sponsored pathway trips like GSUSA-sponsored Destinations or GSUSA-sponsored getaways.
