Gear Up for Greatness with Other Volunteers
Join us in Statesville for the 2025 Volunteer Conference: Cruisin’ Into a New Year on Saturday, August 2 for a day of inspiration, learning and connection. This energizing event is designed for both current Service Unit Team members and troop leaders interested in taking on local leadership roles.

You’ll hear the latest updates, fuel up with fresh ideas, build your skills, swap experiences and help drive the Girl Scout Mission forward. Connect with fellow volunteers and prepare to kick off a great Girl Scout year. You’ll walk away with new tools, valuable insights and, of course, an exclusive patch!
Last Week for Girl Scout Baseball Tickets

Enjoy summer fun with Girl Scout Nights at the ballpark! While cheering on the home team, use our Science on the Sandlot patch program to discover the basics of baseball and how STEM plays a key role in the game.
Museum Activities
Did you know that our council has a display at the Hickory Museum of Art in conjunction with Virgil Ortiz’s current exhibition, I AM: Indigenous Ancestral Memory? Complete the exclusive Girl Scout activity book to earn a special patch that Ortiz is designing! Our display, Unbridled Courage: The Girl Scout Story, uplifts Ortiz’s theme of female strength and pays special homage to one of Ortiz’ main characters: Tahu, leader of the blind archers. Admission to the museum is free with suggested donations. You can view the exhibit any time during museum hours through August 31, 2025.
