Closing Next Week

The Asheville Girl Scout Shop will be closed for inventory on September 22, 23 and 25. Orders can still be placed through the GSCP2P Shop Order Form.
Camp Magic Continues
We had an amazing Saturday celebrating Keyauwee Program Center’s 80th birthday with over 125 guests. It was great to see families enjoying the outdoors together and to reconnect with camper and staff alum over classic camp activities.
We also announced the Camp Magic Fund, an unrestricted fund designated for use across all three Girl Scout camps within the GSCP2P footprint. We invite all members and outdoor enthusiasts in our communities to help us secure the magic of camp for future generations by donating in honor of your favorite Girl Scout camp!

Council-Wide Camp Out Update
We are deeply sorry to report that, due to on-going issues at Camp Pisgah with our water system, we are unable to host Council-wide Camp Out at Camp Pisgah for that weekend. We do, however, have good news in that we have planned TWO alternative outdoor experiences for our members!

Saturday, October 18 from 2-5 p.m. we have planned Girl Scout Spirit Day at the Girl Scout Little House in Brevard, NC. For only $5 a participant, kick off the new Girl Scout year with an afternoon of traditional Girl Scout activities, fall fun in the field and celebrating what it means to be a Girl Scout in beautiful Brevard! A sweet treat will help us celebrate the historic milestone of the 77th anniversary of the Little House grand opening. Bring your family, invite your friends and join us for this joyful, family-friendly event open to all Girl Scouts and their families!

Saturday, October 25- Sunday, October 26 join us for an unforgettable Council-Wide Camp Out at our sister Girl Scout Camp, The Dale Earnhardt Environmental Leadership Campus at Oak Springs in Statesville, NC! Gather your troop for this exciting weekend immersed in camp classics like archery, boating, campfires, s’mores and more! Enjoy a full day of adventure with overnight accommodations, lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday and a patch for only $75 a participant.
Time to Design Your Avatar
The Fall Product program is in full swing, and girls can learn business skills, earn rewards and kick-start troop funds for the Girl Scout adventures ahead!
This year’s theme is Brave. Fierce. Fun! It is time to create your avatar and online storefront, so don’t be afraid to show off your personality through your avatar design or by creating a short introduction video to welcome your shoppers. Take your fierce style to the next level by earning a personalized patch featuring your avatar and our Grizzly Bear mascot, Cinnamon, by:
- Creating an avatar
- Sending 20 or more e-mails through the M2 system during the 2025 Fall Product Program
- Selling four or more magazine items and 20 or more candy/nut items during the 2025 Fall Product Program
Take a look at the two background options you can choose from!

Gluten-free Cookie Troop Pre-orders

Girl Scout troops in our council will have the opportunity to sell gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip Girl Scout Cookies (GFCCC) as part of the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program. Because the GFCCC cookies are not produced in the same facility as our regular cookie lineup and because of limitations on baking capacity, the GFCCC cookies are available to our council on a preorder basis only. For these reasons, we are asking troops that want to ensure they have GFCCC available in their inventory to sell during the 2026 cookie program to place a pre-order no later than Wednesday, October 22, 2025 (only one order per troop!).
In addition to the GFCCC cookies preordered by troops, GSCP2P will order a limited quantity of extra cases that will be available to troops on a first come, first serve basis for pickup at our Service Center Cookie Cupboards beginning Monday, January 12, 2026. GFCCC cookies preordered by troops will be delivered with the troop’s initial cookie order.
Cookie Hoodie Design Contest
Unleash your imagination and enter the Cookie Hoodie Design Contest! You could inspire this year’s Cookie Hoodie design, get a free hoodie and a feature on our social media! Designs must be submitted electronically by October 10.

Bronze and Silver Reports Due NEXT WEEK

Have you been working on a Highest Award this year? If you’ve just graduated 5th grade or 8th grade, it’s time to submit your Girl Scout Bronze Award Final Report or your Girl Scout Silver Award Final Report if your Silver Award project has already been approved. Submitting your report by September 30 ensures your accomplishments are officially recognized and celebrated!
Time to Renew Your Membership
Get ready for more Girl Scout adventures ahead! If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, you can login to your MyGS account to make sure you are set to join us for the 2025-2026 membership year.
If you are interested in continuing the upcoming Girl Scout year with a different troop or as an Independently Registered Girl Scout, our staff are here to help you find the best opportunities for you and your family. Reach out to us at info@girlscoutsp2p.org or 800-672-2148.

Troop Uniform Shops

It is important for all troop members to feel a sense of belonging and accomplishment- that is the magic of the Girl Scout uniform! Request a Troop Uniform Shop if you would like to make uniform fittings a troop experience. Our friendly team will bring the uniform shop to your meeting space, handle fittings, orders and personalized packaging for each girl.
Hispanic Heritage Month Patch

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with your family and friends by recognizing all the histories, cultures, and contributions that Hispanic and Latino people have made. Take this opportunity to learn more about the 21 Spanish-speaking countries and territories’ cultures honored during September 15–October 15. And with plenty of activities to choose from, the discovery and fun are endless.
Anyone can earn the Hispanic Heritage Month Patch! We’re stronger together. By acknowledging the diversity, heritage and contributions of our multicultural communities, Girl Scouts can find new ways to make the world a better place for everyone.
Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings
Encouraging your troop to participate in the Fall Product Program, not only provides initial start-up funds for your troop, but it is also an opportunity for your troop to earn matching T-shirts! Girls can earn the shirt when they reach $325 or more in combined sales. Troop volunteers (two per troop) who create their avatar, participate in the parent/guardian e-mail campaign and, if the troop ends the program with at least $1,000 in sales, earn a troop T-shirt.
Note: Volunteers whose troop meets requirements must submit volunteer shirt sizes by November 12 at tinyurl.com/mr4deazb or the troop volunteers forfeit this reward!
