Cyber Monday Special
Today is Cyber Monday and, in the history of GSCP2P, this traditionally means the kickoff of our summer camp season! Continued hurricane recovery projects and several new property findings mean we will once again hold overnight summer camp exclusively at Keyauwee Program Center for summer 2026. We waited as long as we could to make this call, but we realize your family needs time and information to make your summer plans. We will be publishing all summer camp registration links on Tuesday, January 20 with specific session dates and information.
We know many of you were hoping for options this summer at Camp Pisgah and Camp Ginger Cascades. Our team is moving quickly to complete the improvements needed at both properties, and our goal is to open these camps for limited troop use in late spring or early summer 2026. We will keep you posted in the coming weeks and months as we learn more.
We know several of you in central and western NC took advantage of our transportation assistance last year and are pleased to offer this again to you all for select weeks. If this is something you are interested in taking advantage of, we would love feedback from members on what weeks this would best be received. If you think you may take advantage of this service, please complete our short survey. (Please note: You are not committing to any weeks at this point but instead just giving us good data to work with as we complete our planning.)
We invite ALL our GSCP2P friends and family to celebrate summer camp by purchasing this special Cyber Monday T-shirt. Anyone that purchases a T-shirt between today and January 15, 2026 will receive a $25 coupon off your summer camp registration (coupon to be e-mailed to you on January 20).

Just want the T-shirt? Great! You can still purchase the shirt and support our GSCP2P camps!
We thank you all for your continued patience and support as we work through these property challenges. Should you have any questions, please contact us at info@girlscoutsp2p.org or 800-672-2148.
Sincerely,

Jaclyn Johnson
GSCP2P Chief Mission Delivery Officer

Girl Scouts Unite Savings

The 58th National Council Session (NCS) is taking place in Washington D.C. this July! Delegates from every council across the nation and from USA Girl Scouts Overseas meet to discuss, debate and vote on issues important to the Girl Scout Movement and elect national leaders for the next triennium. It’s democracy in action, as girl delegates vote alongside adult delegates and have a direct voice in shaping the future of Girl Scouts.
Following NCS, the Girl Scouts Unite event will also take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Join us as we celebrate all the ways that Girls Make History. Girl Scouts have transformed—and continue to transform—our country. We planted victory gardens during World War II and marched for civil rights. We launch new businesses and advocate for the issues we care about. We dream big. We spark change. We lead the way! There’s no better time and place to celebrate the incredible impact of Girl Scouts than on the 250th anniversary of the U.S. in our nation’s capital.
Don’t miss out on unforgettable experiences at the Girl Scouts Unite event, like:
- Interactive skill-building workshops for adults and girls in grades four and above
- Connecting with Girl Scouts who are taking action in their communities
- Incredible live performances and epic celebrations
- Exploring 100+ booths and activities available in the Hall of Experiences
Save 15%* on All Access 3-Day tickets when purchased by 11:59 p.m. ET on January 4, 2026. Groups of four can save up to $300. No code required. Take advantage of early savings and secure your spot today.

Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings
In order to update and improve our troop banking account records and policies, we are implementing an annual submission review process. Each troop is now required to submit an updated ACH Authorization Form every year.
All forms should include:
- Current signatures of authorized signers
- Account numbers and related banking details
If there have been no changes to your troop’s banking information, please check the designated box on the updated form for product program participation to indicate that your information remains the same and add the signatures and account numbers.

Keeping this information current helps ensure financial accuracy and compliance with council policies. For more guidelines and best practices, please see the Bank Account Basics – Volunteer Guide.
Troop banking specialists should complete and submit your troop’s annual ACH Authorization Form for the 2025-26 membership year as soon as possible. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact us at 800-672-2148 or info@girlscoutsp2p.org.
