Shop Closings and Special Hours

All shops and service centers will be closed this Wednesday, December 10 due to an all staff meeting.
The Greensboro Girl Scout Shop will be open special hours this Sunday, December 14 from 1-4 p.m.
Exploremores are Coming
The Girl Scout Cookie Program officially starts next week! Girls can use their paper order cards to visit friends, family and local neighborhoods, with adult supervision and approval, and take pre-orders for cookies. Girls should not collect money for any order prior to delivery (unless they order online through Smart Cookies).

Once cookies arrive January 7-10, we’ll celebrate with Walk-About Week and the opening of cookie booths! Throughout the Girl Scout Cookie Program, you can learn about essential entrepreneurial skills, have fun raising funds for your next adventure and earn financial literacy badges.

Ready to get in the Girl Scout Cookie Season spirit? Order the Cookie Connoisseur Bundle or pieces separately. If you missed our Cookie Expo and Cookie University events in Black Mountain this past weekend, you can still register for kick-off celebrations in Eden and Winston-Salem this January!
Cookie Mascot Voting Ends This Week
Girl Scout Cookie Season is just around the corner, and we’re continuing our Brave. Fierce. Fun. theme from the Fall Product Program! While our Grizzly Bear mascots, Cinnamon and Spice, are going into hibernation, we are excited to introduce our cookie mascot- the Black-footed Ferret. Help us name this year’s cookie mascot by submitting your vote by December 12.

Cookie Dough Expires This Week
Last year’s Cookie Dough expires on December 12! Cookie Dough can be used when registering for council-hosted events, at GSCP2P Girl Scout Shops and more.

Cookie Dough cannot be redeemed on purchases made on the official online shop, but are accepted on online shop purchases through the GSCP2P Shop Order Form!
ACH Authroization Form
In order to update and improve our troop banking account records and policies, we are implementing an annual submission review process. Each troop is now required to submit an updated ACH Authorization Form every year. Troop banking specialists should complete and submit your troop’s annual ACH Authorization Form for the 2025-26 membership year as soon as possible. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact us at 800-672-2148 or info@girlscoutsp2p.org.

All forms should include:
- Current signatures of authorized signers
- Account numbers and related banking details
Celebrate National Day of the Horse

December 13 is National Day of the Horse, and we know an awesome herd worth celebrating! Our council spends $5,000 every year to care for each of the horses at our Circle C Equestrian Center. With an Adopt Our Herd donation, you can become a Horse Buddy and provide essential funds toward the costs associated with running the equestrian program and care for all of our amazing horses.
Stay tuned! We’re adding spring and summer equestrian programs to our calendar- including Troop Horseback Riding sessions and Riding Instructor-In-Training workshops. In the meantime, find behind-the-scenes footage of our herd on the Circle C Facebook and Instagram pages.
Summer Camp Transportation Assistance Survey
We are pleased to offer transportation assistance again this summer to campers in central and western North Carolina. This assistance will only be offered select weeks of camp, so we would love feedback from members on what weeks this would best be received. If you think you may take advantage of this service, please complete our short survey.

If there have been no changes to your troop’s banking information, please check the designated box on the updated form for product program participation to indicate that your information remains the same and add the signatures and account numbers.

Girl Scouts Unite Savings

The 58th National Council Session (NCS) is taking place in Washington D.C. this July! Delegates from every council across the nation and from USA Girl Scouts Overseas meet to discuss, debate and vote on issues important to the Girl Scout Movement and elect national leaders for the next triennium. It’s democracy in action, as girl delegates vote alongside adult delegates and have a direct voice in shaping the future of Girl Scouts.
Following NCS, the Girl Scouts Unite event will also take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Join us as we celebrate all the ways that Girls Make History. Girl Scouts have transformed—and continue to transform—our country. We planted victory gardens during World War II and marched for civil rights. We launch new businesses and advocate for the issues we care about. We dream big. We spark change. We lead the way! There’s no better time and place to celebrate the incredible impact of Girl Scouts than on the 250th anniversary of the U.S. in our nation’s capital.
Don’t miss out on unforgettable experiences at the Girl Scouts Unite event, like:
- Interactive skill-building workshops for adults and girls in grades four and above
- Connecting with Girl Scouts who are taking action in their communities
- Incredible live performances and epic celebrations
- Exploring 100+ booths and activities available in the Hall of Experiences
Save 15%* on All Access 3-Day tickets when purchased by 11:59 p.m. ET on January 4, 2026. Groups of four can save up to $300. No code required. Take advantage of early savings and secure your spot today.
Mobile Shop Savings

We are excited to hit the road and deliver Girl Scout shopping experiences to you! Enjoy 10% off orders of $25 or more when you schedule your next Mobile Shop or Uniform Shop event to take place by March 31.
The mobile shop can be requested only for events with a minimum of 50 attendees. If your event has fewer participants, we recommend inviting troops to join.

Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings
Ensuring the safety and well-being of every Girl Scout is our highest priority. The GSUSA Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention course equips volunteers and staff with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize, respond to and prevent situations that could place a girl at risk. This course is required for all volunteers and can be accessed in the gsLearn tab of your MyGS account.
