Today’s Tips 1.12.26

Make Girl Scout Cookie Season a Family Affair

It is Walk-About Week! Try out your people skills with your customers closest to home by taking a walk around your neighborhood with a trusted adult or by inviting your neighbors to an open house. Earn the Walk-About patch by selling 35 packages between January 10-18 and enter our Walk-About Week Photo Contest by January 26 for a chance to win an ice cream party for your troop.

Earning Cookie Entrepreneur Family pins makes spending time with family easy, fun and even sweeter during cookie season. Our age-specific guidelines are designed to help you make amazing memories and earn a different pin every cookie season.

We also have the Sisters Working Together patch to encourage girls in the same household to use team work.

Summer Camp Coupon Ends THIS Week

We invite all of our GSCP2P friends and family to celebrate summer camp by purchasing this special Cyber Monday T-shirt. Anyone that purchases a T-shirt by January 15, 2026 will receive a $25 coupon off your summer camp registration (coupon to be e-mailed to you on January 20).

Just want the T-shirt? Great! You can still purchase the shirt and support our GSCP2P camps!

Designed for Fun

Girl Scouts are invited to join us in Winston-Salem on Saturday, March 7 as we explore the environments around us and how the world of design can make our spaces even more amazing.

Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies can enjoy a Design in Nature workshop. We’ll explore patterns, shapes and measurements in nature and discover how math makes the natural world even more amazing- all while earning the Design in Nature badge!

Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors can enjoy a Future Designer workshop. Work on the Future Designer patch with us by going on an urban hike and building a dream park using recycled materials.

Bandit’s Tips For Cookie Program Fun

The Girl Scout Cookie Program has officially started, and we’re excited for you to learn entrepreneurial skills, have fun raising funds for your next adventure and earn financial literacy badges.

Bandit’s Tip:
Location can be an important factor to your success. You could score extra package credits by sending us a photo of your most unique cookie booth location through our Out of the Ordinary challenge. Do some research when selecting your unique booth location. What is the foot traffic and demographics of the area? Are there high-traffic times that would work best in this location? How can you increase your visibility? Are there other businesses selling cookies near your location? If yes, what makes Girl Scout Cookies different from the others?

Mobile Shop Savings

We are excited to hit the road and deliver Girl Scout shopping experiences to you! Enjoy 10% off orders of $25 or more when you schedule your next Mobile Shop or Uniform Shop event to take place by March 31.

New GSCP2P Wants to Know Survey

It has been an honor to serve Girl Scouts and their families across our 40-county footprint this past fall. Your feedback is a valuable resource to help us ensure we are delivering the best experience to our members. All adult Girl Scouts and caregivers of youth members are encouraged to complete our short GSCP2P Wants to Know Survey as we prepare for more fun ahead.

The mobile shop can be requested only for events with a minimum of 50 attendees. If your event has fewer participants, we recommend inviting troops to join.

Learn at Allison Woods

Are you seeking a fun, educational and innovative way to earn a badge? If you love the outdoors and learning about the environment, the Allison Woods Outdoor Learning Center Girl Scout Badge Programs are perfect for you and your troop! These two-hour programs include a lesson and all necessary activity supplies for just $8 per Girl Scout.

More discoveries await! Use our Community Partner Directory to schedule unique experiences for your troop.

Patch of the Month: Self-defense

Earn the Self-defense patch while exploring different techniques for self-defense and learning about protecting yourself from harm. This program was created by a GSCP2P Gold Award Girl Scout!

Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings

If you haven’t already joined Rallyhood, now is a great time to create your free account and join the Welcome Volunteers rally as this is where any weather delays or other announcements affecting the cookie program will be posted. We also have rallies specifically for Service Unit Cookie Managers and Troop Cookie Managers.

Our council launched Rallyhood at the beginning of the Girl Scout year. This one-stop communication and collaboration tool is free for GSCP2P Girl Scout adults and volunteers. Connect with your troop, service unit and even the entire council when you join certain rallies.

We are excited to announce the completion of our initial set-up and our next step is to install Stripe payment processing features for troop and service unit rallies. Once installed, you will be able to use Rallyhood to collect payments for dues and events- even for people who do not have a Rallyhood account. Troop leaders or service unit managers who are interested in accepting payments should complete the Rallyhood Stripe Request Form. Requests will be filled in the order they are received.
