National Convention & Travel Plans

This summer is the 58th National Council Session and Girl Scouts Unite event in Washington, D.C.! The Girl Scout National Convention occurs every three years and is a stellar opportunity to see girl-led governance in action, connect with Girl Scouts from all over, hear from inspiring speakers, learn leadership skills through interactive workshops and discover unique adventures.

While we will be represented by GSCP2P National Delegates, GSCP2P is not organizing a trip to Washington, D.C. Girl Scouts, volunteers, alums and families are all invited to attend, and group travel plans can be coordinated within your troop or service unit. You can also connect with members in our council on Rallyhood ! Our council has booked several rooms and is able to offer discounted lodging to our members traveling for the convention. Learn more and complete our National Convention Lodging Interest Form to reserve your rooms.

Interested in solo travel? There is still time to apply for the National Convention Destinations trip! Girl Scout Destinations are the ultimate adventure for individual Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts. Push past your comfort zone by applying for a trip on your own, and make friends from all over the country as you travel with new Girl Scout friends. There’s a unique, life-changing experience for everyone. Find upcoming trips and help fund your travels by participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Program. If you want to learn more about Girl Scout travel, register for our virtual Adventure Awaits: Destination Diaries  happening on Sunday, February 15. You will hear from girls who have participated in both local and far-flung Destinations trips, learn about the travel opportunities available to you as a Girl Scout and get inside tips on how to fund your travels!

New GSCP2P Wants to Know Survey Closes This Friday

It has been an honor to serve Girl Scouts and their families across our 40-county footprint this past fall. Your feedback is a valuable resource to help us ensure we are delivering the best experience to our members. All adult Girl Scouts and caregivers of youth members are encouraged to complete our short GSCP2P Wants to Know Survey as we prepare for more fun ahead.

CEO Receptions and Board Forums

Join us at the CEO reception in Dallas! Stop by between 4-6 p.m. this Thursday, January 29 to meet our new CEO, enjoy light refreshments, sample our new Exploremores cookie and collect an “I Met The CEO” patch! Spring reception dates for Hickory and Greensboro receptions will be announced soon.

Additionally, we are also hosting Board Forums at each service center throughout February and March. We look forward to seeing you in-person or virtually for these informational and governance meetings with the GSCP2P Board of Directors.

Explore More at Summer Camp

View our 2026 Summer Camp Program Guide to discover all the fun we have planned. You will also find a readiness quiz for campers and adults, important information on various savings and assistance as well as a scavenger hunt that could win you a Camp Care Package!

Registrations for summer camp sessions are done through our calendar  and only require a $50 deposit to hold your spot. We believe all girls benefit from time in the great outdoors and have several offers to help get your girl to camp! Enjoy a $50 Early Bird Discount when you register for any full-week overnight session by March 31, and don’t forget that Cookie Dough earned during the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program can be used for summer camp fees! Our Financial Assistance application is available after your initial deposit. Remember to submit your request early as funds are limited and awarded on a first come, first served basis. Transportation assistance from the Asheville and Hickory Service Centers is also available for select weeks and can be requested here.

Bandit’s Tips For Cookie Program Fun

The Girl Scout Cookie Program has officially started, and we’re excited for you to learn entrepreneurial skills, have fun raising funds for your next adventure and earn financial literacy badges.

If you participated in Walk-About Week, remember to submit your photo entry by TODAY, January 26, for a chance to win an ice cream party for your troop!

Bandit’s Tip:
Review the online experience for your customers. You can upload a video introduction to make your digital storefront more welcoming and encourage sales. Then, send e-mails to test how your updated landing page performs! Did you notice more customers or customers purchasing larger quantities? You could also score extra package credits by sending us a video of your best sales pitch through our Out of the Ordinary challenge by February 16!

Get Moving With Elon Women’s Sports

Celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day with Elon’s Women’s Teams! Learn skills at a sports clinic hosted by Elon athletes and then cheer on the Phoenix as Elon Women’s Basketball takes on the Towson. Lunch is included with your ticket! Enjoy a hot dog, chips and a drink at the concessions.

More discoveries await! Use our Community Partner Directory to schedule unique experiences for your troop.

Patch of the Month: Self-defense

Earn the Self-defense patch while exploring different techniques for self-defense and learning about protecting yourself from harm. This program was created by a GSCP2P Gold Award Girl Scout!

Adult Volunteer Resources & Trainings

Now is a great time to create your free Rallyhood account and join the Welcome Volunteers rally as this is where any weather delays or other announcements affecting the cookie program will be posted.

Our council launched Rallyhood at the beginning of the Girl Scout year. This one-stop communication and collaboration tool is free for GSCP2P Girl Scout adults and volunteers. Connect with your troop, service unit and even the entire council when you join certain rallies.

We are excited to announce the completion of our initial set-up and our next step is to install Stripe payment processing features for troop and service unit rallies. Once installed, you will be able to use Rallyhood to collect payments for dues and events- even for people who do not have a Rallyhood account. Troop leaders or service unit managers who are interested in accepting payments should complete the Rallyhood Stripe Request Form . Requests will be filled in the order they are received.
