Girl Scout Troop 30583 earned their Girl Scout Bronze Award over the summer by building bat boxes for Veterans Healing Farm in Hendersonville. These boxes, which can house 2,000 bats, will encourage the animals to make the farm their home.
The Veterans Healing Farm said the girls did a great job building and installing the boxes and they are so excited to have these new resources at their facility.
