As part of honoring Veteran’s Day, Girl Scout Cadette Troop 2276 recently visited the Military Museum in Gastonia. While there, they were able to talk with WWII and Vietnam veterans about their experiences.

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P), is one of the 112 councils from across the nation that delivers the Girl Scout program, serves nearly 14,000 girls in central and western North Carolina. With the support and guidance of nearly 6,400 volunteers, girls in grades K-12 are given opportunities for fun and friendship, while fostering the development of leadership skills and self-esteem.
