Girl  Scouts is the best leadership development experience for girls in the world, and our Girl Scout Leadership Experience is a one-of-a-kind program for girls with proven results. It is based on time-tested methods and research-backed programming that helps girls take the lead, in their own lives and in the world.

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont is excited to announce our annual Women of Distinction awards, recognizing women leaders in our local communities. We are currently accepting nominations for these prestigious awards. Please refer to the nomination form for nomination criteria. You can find the nomination form here. The nomination deadline is April 1, 2019.

The selected Women of Distinction will be honored at one of two dinners:

  1. May 30, 2019 at Providence Restaurant in Winston-Salem
  2. June 6, 2019 at Celine & Company “On Broadway” in Asheville

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P), is one of the 111 councils from across the nation that delivers the Girl Scout program, serves nearly 12,000 girls in central and western North Carolina. With the support and guidance of nearly 6,000 volunteers, girls in grades K-12 are given opportunities for fun and friendship, while fostering the development of leadership skills and self-esteem. It is a safe environment for girls to engage in activities while they discover more about themselves and the community around them, connect with others and take action to the make the world a better place.
