Apply Now to be a 2019-20 P2P Media Girl

If you are a Girl Scout who is outgoing, comfortable speaking in front of an audience and is excited about being on camera, then you could be a Media Girl!

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont is accepting applications for the 2019-20 Media Girls program, giving girls the opportunity to participate in media events and be the “girl face” to help deliver the Girl Scout message to our communities. As a Media Girl you may:

  • Participate in a radio, television or newspaper interview
  • Receive media training from professionals in the field
  • Represent Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont at special council and community events
  • Explore the world of media professions

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P), is one of the 111 councils from across the nation that delivers the Girl Scout program, serves nearly 12,000 girls in central and western North Carolina. With the support and guidance of nearly 6,000 volunteers, girls in grades K-12 are given opportunities for fun and friendship, while fostering the development of leadership skills and self-esteem. It is a safe environment for girls to engage in activities while they discover more about themselves and the community around them, connect with others and take action to the make the world a better place.
