Donate Girl Scout Cookies to Hometown Heroes

The Girl Scout Cookie Program helps our girls set goals and fund activities such as camping, field trips, badge work and community service projects.

Even during this time of social distancing, Girl Scouts continue to connect with one another through virtual meetings and programming in an attempt to create some normalcy in our girls’ lives. Because of the recent recommendations and guidelines, some of our Girl Scout troops are not able to finish selling their Girl Scout cookies.

We are asking you to help us help our Girl Scout troops help our communities!
Make a donation here to Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont and we will connect with our Girl Scout troops to send cookies to the local “Hometown Heroes” of their choosing (grocery store clerks, healthcare workers, first responders, etc.). The troops will keep all regular cookie profits from the donation. A $20 donation purchases 5 boxes of cookies.

Since the beginning of Girl Scouts in 1912, girls have given back to their community in times of uncertainty or struggle. Can you imagine a weary hospital worker, clerk at a grocery store or police officer receiving a box of Girl Scout cookies perhaps with a handwritten note saying how much they are appreciated in this uncertain time? It’s a little gesture but could mean the world to someone on the front lines. Mostly what we can do is stay at home, but here is an opportunity to send some love into the community.

You get to help the girls meet their cookie program goals AND know that our local hometown heroes are being supported and thanked!

Thanks so much for your support now and always,

Lane Cook
CEO, Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont

Please note: Any amount collected after we reach the goal will stay with Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont to deliver support and programming to our girls and volunteers.
