Congratulations to Megan Carroll of Girl Scout Troop 2305 in Lincolnton County for earning her Girl Scout Silver Award! Megan partnered with her church and Lincolnton Middle School to make her idea come to life. While on a trip with her troop, Megan got inspired. With her love of music, she had the idea to create a portable music stand for the adaptive classes to share at Lincolnton Middle.
With help from her dad, she was able to cut the sturdy PVC pipe to create the stand. She then painted it and attached cymbals, cowbells, triangles, a xylophone and chimes. Way to go Megan!
