Congratulations to Laurel Hamm, Holly Porter and Jasmine Porter of Girl Scout Troop 30032 in Haywood County for completing their Girl Scout Silver Award! The girls chose to do a seminar on disaster planning for the upcoming hurricane season. Each girl took on a different aspect of the planning to talk about and educated those around them on their specific topic. For instance, one topic was disaster planning for pets and how to incorporate them into your plans. Way to go girls!
