Congratulations to Alice Berry from Girl Scout Troop 2024 of Caldwell County for earning her Girl Scout Silver Award! She worked with Wittenburg Elementary School and made a Buddy Bench to help others feel less alone. From personal experience, she knows foster care can make children feel isolated and different from their friends. This project is to say they aren’t alone- there is still hope. Her Buddy Bench will help children, whether in foster care or not, make friends and feel connected to others.
