Congratulations to Ava from Girl Scout Troop 1854 in Lincoln County for completing their Girl Scout Silver Award this past year! Ava developed The Little Blue Pet Pantry and it’s a place where pet owners can go to get supplies and food for their pets, that they otherwise may not be able to afford. With the help of HATS, (Helping Animals to Survive) Ava built the small pantry with her newly-learned skills with power tools. The pantry was created to hopefully help pet owners get the needed supplies for their pets when they need them. Pets offer great mental and physical health benefits to their owners and with the other stressors, many people are facing, having to choose to give your pet away, due to a lack of supplies, should not be one of them.
