Virtual Town Hall Recap
Thank you to all who attended our virtual Town Hall meeting this past Saturday, April 24. It was a morning of celebration as we highlighted our successes from 2020, elected new board officers and directors and honored our Adult Award recipients. And congratulations again to all our board-approved award recipients- your hard work and passion for Girl Scouting is appreciated and admired!​Don’t Miss the Becoming Me Virtual Event with Michelle Obama

Girls and adults have until Friday, April 30 to either renew their Girl Scout membership or become a new member in order to attend the exciting virtual Girl Scout event that will feature Michelle Obama and her book Becoming: Adapted for Young Readers.

This event is open only to those registered for the 2021-22 troop year and will inspire girls to think about their own story and journey.

Once you have renewed or joined, be sure to register for the event here!

​Join the GSCP2P Interfaith Committee
It’s not to late to join GSCP2P’s new Interfaith Committee. Applications are being accepted through May 1. This team will work to elevate faith-based initiatives though the following areas:Troop/Sponsor Prospecting & Cultivation (Fostering relationships with the faith community)  On-going Interfaith Troop Support (Educate and support our troops) Faith-Partner Relationship Development (Connecting with the various religious youth organizations)  My Promise, My Faith & Religious Recognition Promotions (Materials and marketing support)  Faith-based Activities/Events (Service unit/council-wide/national)  If you have a passion to connect faith and Girl Scouts in any of these areas, you are encouraged to apply. ​

Cookie Rewards: Camp Thanks-A-Lot & Membership Dues 
Thank you again to everyone who participated in the 2021 Girl Scout Cookie Program! Please see below for information on certain cookie rewards.
For girls who sold 400 packages or more of cookies, they had the option of choosing Camp Thanks-A-lot or the themed beach towel. Last Tuesday, each of the girls that qualified for Camp Thanks-A-Lot and chose that option received a registration e-mail from the council. If you did not receive this e-mail or have questions about Camp Thanks-A-Lot, please contact our Customer Care Team by e-mail or at 800-672-2148. 
Girls who sold 625 packages or more of cookies during the cookie program earned their membership dues for the upcoming year. Our Customer Care Team is working on these renewals now. Girls will be registered in the next few days, so if they are interested in registering for the Becoming Me event, they can do so on Thursday, April 29. 
New Girl Scout Study: The Girl Scout Alum Difference
The Girl Scout Research Institute recently conducted an original study to learn how being a Girl Scout affects alums in their adult lives—and the findings are exciting! You won’t want to miss what Girl Scout alums had to say about how the benefits of Girl Scouting extend beyond their childhoods and higher education and into their careers, volunteer work and civic engagement.
