Congratulations to Addison Hedrick, Katie Garnto, and Julianne Lewis from Girl Scout Troop 12905 in Alexander County for completing their Girl Scout Bronze Award this past year! The girls thought of the “Book Box” to place at Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church. They wanted to be able to share books with people in their community. Some will be able to take books or others can donate their good reads. They started brainstorming and worked on rough drafts, then transferred their work onto the wood of the Book Box. Despite Covid’s conditions, the girls were able to complete the project and finalize the Box. The girls have had fun working on this project and were excited to be able to share it with the community. Go, Girls!
