P2P Announces New CEO

Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont is excited to welcome Jennifer Wilcox as our next CEO. In case you missed last week’s announcement, you can read more about Jennifer here. Her official start date with P2P will be Monday, July 26. ​

Year End Reports Due June 30
Don’t forget that the Troop Year End Review is due to the council by Wednesday, June 30. With the new form this year, you have the ability to work on the information and come back to it as you need to. You can find the form here.

Also have you seen our Monthly Finance Tracker? You can use this helpful tool to keep your troop finances in order throughout the year and/or to complete the Finance Report portion of the Troop Year End Review.

​P2P Girl Nominated to National Girl Board

 Congratulations to Hope Williams of Girl Scout Troop 30000 for being elected to the Girl Scouts of the USA Girl Advisory Board. We are so excited for Hope to represent our council, along with 22 other girls from across the country, as they work to share and grow the Girl Scout Movement with other girls. Today is the Last Day to Register for Comic Con!
Have you saved your spot for the 2021 Girl Scout Comic Con, happening virtually on July 24? The day will be filled with lots of workshops, costumes, professional instructors and some surprise guests! Be sure and register by today, June 21, to join the fun. 


Girl Scouts and LEGO Virtual Event
Using creativity and collaboration, girls can unlock their imaginations and build a better world. Girl Scouts of the USA and the LEGO Group are hosting a national virtual event for Girl Scout Juniors in grades 4 and 5 on Saturday, June 26.
Guided by LEGO® BrickMaster Amy Corbett, girls will explore engineering for the environment, complete a hands-on activity from Girl Scouts’ Think Like An Engineer Journey and find out about the LEGO Group’s new Build the Change app. To register, please click here
