Today’s Tips 1.31.22

It’s Time to Plan Your Summer Adventure!
Camp registration for summer camp 2022 is now open and our three camp properties – Camp Ginger Cascades (Lenoir), Camp Pisgah (Brevard) and Keyauwee Program Center (Sophia) – are ready to get every girl outside! And, for the month of February, you can enjoy the Early Bird discount of $50 off all week-long and CIT programs!

We already have girls registering for their favorite sessions and looking forward to all the fun and opportunities awaiting them! Here is a quick peek at what summer camp looks like: Resident camp sessions happening at Keyauwee Program Center (June-July) and Camp Pisgah (July-August)Day camp programming at Keyauwee Program Center (July) and Camp Pisgah (first three weeks of July)Adventure-based troop camping sessions at Camp Ginger Cascades- are you ready to explore the outdoors on the back of a llama? Or trek through the woods on a backpacking trip? These sessions are for troops only, and give our older girls especially, some new and exciting camp options. Mini sessions and horse resident camp and horse mini sessions are also part of the lineup. To see all the programs being offered and to register, you can view the 2022 camp book here

Along with the traditional camp offerings, we wanted our service unit and troops to have camping opportunities throughout the summer as well. So new this year, Camp Ginger Cascades will be the place to do that! The camp will be open all summer long for troops and service units to reserve different lodging options and give their girls their very own camp experience. Ginger Cascades is full of adventure- from the natural cascades and scenic surroundings to the traditional camp activities like archery, the climbing wall and swimming. It’s a great place to give your girls the gift of being outdoors. Just show up and let our camp team do the rest!

We hope you are as excited as we are to welcome summer and all these exciting adventures. Visit our newly added Outdoors section on our website to find all the information you need. And if you still have questions about camp or outdoor programs, please reach out to us at info@girlscoutsp2p.org or 800-672-2148.

We look forward to being outdoors with you in 2022!
