Asian American & Pacific Islander Month

The Girl Scout Movement deeply values diversity and inclusion, and the month of May (Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month) is a great time for you to start (or continue!) learning about the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.

The “I Am a Girl Scout!” fun patch is designed to provide Girl Scouts and volunteers of all backgrounds the opportunity to learn more about the cultures, histories and traditions of the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities honored during Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We invite you to explore these cultures and communities in your state and across the country! We’ve got plenty of activities for you to choose from here so that you can make new discoveries and have tons of fun learning while earning a cool patch! The “I Am a Girl Scout!” Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month fun patch is part of the Multicultural Community Celebration fun patch series.
