| Girl Scout Strong for Uvalde We are devastated to share the news that the mass shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde last week resulted in the tragic death of Amerie Jo Garza, one of our Girl Scouts sisters from Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas. The Texas council is encouraging Girl Scout troops to create personalized cards for families or friends of the victims, those recovering in the hospital and first responders. Coker Loop, San Antonio, TX 78216 Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas also has a list of additional ways to help and resources for girls on their website. Girl Scout QuestFest 2022 Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia is hosting it’s final QuestFest® this year, July 14-17, both virtually and in-person in Savannah, Georgia. Open to all Girl Scouts across the country, QuestFest® is a giant scavenger hunt with a twist! You’re not looking for items or things — instead you and your team are in search of experiences called Quests. Think STEM, summer fun, and Girl Scout-themed activities and challenges to earn points for your team! These Quests are designed with Girl Scout values in mind, so while you’re having fun, you’ll also be making the world a better place. Learn more about this fun event here. Registration is open through June 10. Volunteer Opportunities: Camp Thanks-A-Lot We are currently looking for volunteers to help us run this year’s Camp Thanks-A-Lot. Volunteers can sign up for a variety of responsibilities. Events will run from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., but volunteers will get breaks throughout the day, including time for lunch. There are several dates to choose from and volunteers are needed at all three camp locations.
