For the last 20+ years, Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont and Goodwill Industries have partnered together for their annual service project Good Turn for Goodwill.
Running October 1-31, Girl Scouts are encouraged to collect bags of gently used clothing and household items to donate to their local Goodwill store. This year, girls are also encouraged to collect unwanted electronic supplies- from computers to old cell phones. The collection of these items helps support employment and training programs throughout the Goodwill organization.
Girls who participate in Good Turn for Goodwill during the month of October will receive a patch after the service project is over. To submit your project report and patch order, please fill out this form by November 15.
AND- we need our Girl Scouts’ help in designing this year’s patch. See all patch contest rules below and submit your design here by October 31.
For more information on where you can drop off donations and the items accepted, please see the full 2022 Good Turn for Goodwill packet.
