Today’s Tips 10.24.22

Celebrate Juliette Gordon Low’s Birthday
Next Monday, October 31, is the birthday of our founder, Juliette Gordon Low. Without her vision, leadership and drive to make the world a better place, we would not be the organization we are today. How is your troop going to celebrate? You could host a birthday party during your next troop meeting or research the history of Juliette and the Girl Scouts to see just how far we have come! You could even organize a service project to honor her legacy. Whatever you have planned, we hope you will share it with us!
Good Turn for Goodwill Reminders
Don’t forget that the month of October is our Good Turn for Goodwill service project. You and your troop can earn a patch by donating gently used items and electronics to your local Goodwill center. Once you make your donations, fill out this form by November 15 to receive your patch.

Do you have a design idea for the Goodwill patch contest? Your creation could be brought to life as our 2022 Good Turn for Goodwill patch. Submissions for the contest are due next Monday, October 31.
Volunteers Needed for Yuletide Festival
Keyauwee Program Center will be holding its 3rd annual Yuletide Festival on Saturday, December 10. We need some volunteers to help bring the holiday magic to life! If you are interested in decorating a cabin/unit or volunteering in another way that day, please fill out the volunteer form here. You can also reach out to info@girlscoutsp2p.org or 800-672-2148.
Learn More About Phenom & the Girl Scout National Convention
It’s never too early to make phenomenal summer plans! Monday, October 31 is the last chance to take advantage of the early bird pricing for Phenom by Girl Scouts and the National Convention happening in Orlando this July.

We will be holding a Q&A session on Wednesday, October 26 to discuss the P2P council trip being planned around this big event. You find details about the trip here. We hope you’ll join us!
