Girl Scout Travels with Destinations Program

Sierra, of Girl Scout Troop 2171, got to travel this past summer thanks to the Girl Scout Destinations program! She spent two weeks in Florida, learning all about animals and getting some pretty awesome experiences including watching a live horse surgery and going behind-the-scenes at an aquarium. Read more about her adventures on our blog!

Do you have a girl interested in traveling with the Destinations program? The first deadline for 2023 trips is November 15.
Calling Buncombe County Girl Scouts!
In its 30th year, Ingles is once again sponsoring a giving tree to benefit MANNA Foodbank in Asheville. The lighting of the tree is taking place on Monday, November 21, and MANNA is looking for 15-20 Girl Scouts from the Buncombe County area to participate in the event as carolers. The caroling will begin at 5 p.m. (girls will need to arrive at 4:30 p.m.) and run until 6 p.m. Families are invited to come and stay for the event while the girls carol and Girl Scouts will receive a fun patch.

If you are interested in participating, please reach out to Julie Walther, Engagement Manager, by this Thursday, November 10.
