| Hickory Council Shop Closed This Week The Hickory Council Shop is getting a refresh and will be closed for customers the week of January 23. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, January 30. Local Hickory customers who place an order this week can get free shipping of their items from another service center shop (online orders not included in the free shipping). Girl Scout Sunday/Faith Materials Available Girl Scout Sunday, as well as Girl Scout Jummah and Girl Scout Sabbath/Shabbat, are part of Girl Scout Week every year. This year, Girl Scout Sunday is Sunday, March 12, Girl Scout Jummah is Friday, March 17 and Girl Scout Sabbath/Shabbat is Friday, March 17- Saturday, March 18.You can find resources, including bulletin inserts and troop activities, for all of these faith celebrations on our website. You can also learn about religious awards and pins that Girl Scouts can earn throughout the year. Summer Camp Registration Opens January 30Are you ready to think about summer? Our 2023 summer camp programming is here, and you can take a look at all of the exciting sessions before registration opens next Monday, January 30. There are so many great opportunities for girls and troops to have an adventure-packed summer! Be a Part of the Adult Learning Event Committees We’re making moves on the volunteer training front and are excited to share updates with you about how you can be involved! The Volunteer Experience staff, along with dedicated volunteers, are working to update and refresh outdoor and camp license curriculum and bring you new program grade level trainings. To make all this happen, we are looking for committee members to serve on our adult learning weekend planning teams. If you have a passion for adult learning and/or event planning and would like to get involved, please complete the Committee Nomination Form by March 1.
