Welcome to Summer

This Saturday, June 20, is the first day of summer and we are excited to welcome our first session of overnight campers this weekend!

There is still time to join us at Keyauwee Program Center for a full week or mini session of overnight camp! View our 2026 Summer Camp Program Guide to discover all the fun we have planned and save your spot at least two weeks before the session start date.

This year, all overnight campers will get to enjoy an equestrian experience at no additional cost! Want to meet the herd before your stay? Check out Circle C Equestrian Center on Facebook or Instagram! The herd has a lot of personality and loves to make videos.

Financial assistance is still available!
We want every Girl Scout to be able to attend camp regardless of their financial situation. Once you register for a program and pay a $50 non-refundable deposit, you will have access to our online financial aid application. Receiving financial aid is confidential. Our camp staff do not know who receives financial assistance. Last year, campers who applied for financial assistance received an average of $280 to use on registration fees.

To apply Cookie Dough, Daisy Dollars or Nut Buck credits to your summer camp registration fees, please contact info@girlscoutsp2p.org.

Session Spotlight:
Registrations for Around the World close on Sunday- don’t miss your chance to embark on a global adventure without ever leaving camp! In addition to all your favorite camp activities, this week invites campers to choose their own way to explore both camp and culture. Campers can dive into specialized crafts inspired by global traditions, learn traditional dances from different regions and even participate in outdoor international cooking, trying out flavors and techniques from around the world. Throughout the week, campers will have countless opportunities to discover new passions, broaden their horizons and learn more about the diverse cultures that make our world so vibrant. Each activity encourages curiosity, creativity and connection as campers explore the world around them.

Midweek brings Theme Thursday: Around the World Edition, a day for campers to show off their travels or their dream destinations! Campers can wear t-shirts, hats, scarves or other fun accessories from places they’ve visited-or ones they’d love to explore. It’s a playful, creative way to celebrate global cultures while keeping the focus on fun, imagination and personal experiences. The highlight of the week is our vibrant International Fair, where campers can experience dishes, traditions, games and activities inspired by the home countries of our amazing summer staff. This year, we have staff from Columbia, Mexico, China, Switzerland, England, Australia and New Zealand! Join us for a colorful celebration of global community, curiosity and connection-right here at camp!

Join the Girl Advisory Board

Want to meet other girls from your council? Do you have ideas about events or programs you would like to see our council offer? Then the Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont Girl Advisory Board (GAB) is for you!

The Girl Advisory Board (GAB) allows Girl Scout Cadettes through Ambassadors the opportunity to serve as an advisory team providing programmatic input to the Experience Team and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). By lending a voice to a movement that wants, needs and values girl-led contributions, these young leaders will play a significant role in shaping the ongoing work of GSCP2P. Applications are open now and will be accepted through July 1, 2026.

Celebrate Cultural Richness With Heritage Month Patch Program

The Girl Scout Movement deeply values diversity and inclusion, and the month of June (LGBTQ+ Pride Month) is a great time for you to start (or continue!) learning about the LGBTQ+ communities.

We invite you to explore these cultures and communities in your state and across the country! We’ve got plenty of activities for you to choose from so that you can make new discoveries and have tons of fun learning while earning a cool patch! Explore History with America250

In 2026, the United States celebrates 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. This historic milestone, known as America250, honors the people, places and moments that shaped our nation. Girl Scouts of the USA is partnering with America250 to celebrate this anniversary with special opportunities for girls to explore history, community and leadership. Girl Scouts can take part in events and activities across North Carolina and beyond, and earn a commemorative five patch collection to mark this once in a lifetime celebration.
