Shops Closing for Inventory Next Week

GSCP2P shops will be closed for physical inventory from July 27-31 and will reopen on August 3. While we are closed, you can still shop 24/7 on the official Girl Scout Shop website. Orders placed through the GSCP2P Shop Form will be on hold and processed when shops reopen.

Congratulations to Troop 1851

Congratulations to Troop 1851 for receiving the town of Casar’s Community Service Award! This multi-level troop is passionate about working together to make their community a better place – this spring, they sponsored the Cleveland County Veterans Care Corner with an inspiring display of Girl Scout Cookies and messages of gratitude. Way to go, Girl Scouts!

Preparing for School

There is still time to sneak in some summer reading. Looking for a good book? Did you know that there is a new series of Girl Scout-inspired stories, guides and journals for young readers published by HarperCollins? Learn more and unlock additional activity sheets and discussion guides.

Embrace the love of reading and discover works by female authors by joining our virtual book club this fall! In monthly Chapter Chats, Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors and Volunteers will discuss the selected book and vote on the next book to read.

Ready to kick off a new school year? We’re hosting a Back 2 School Blast in Hickory on Saturday, August 22! Girl Scouts of all ages can spend the afternoon playing fun games and winning cool Girl Scout gear and prizes. Bring a friend to add to your troop and they can enter the event for free if they sign up for a Girl Scout membership at the door.

Registrations Closing This Friday

Our last event in the virtual Tuesday Explorers series is on July 28 and there is still time to register for Fossil Fascination! From ancient sea life to dinosaurs and mammoths, discover how living things left their marks in stone. Every fossil has a story. Come uncover the past!

The 2026 Volunteer Conference is almost sold out! Join us in Statesville on Saturday, August 1 for an engaging, high-energy event filled with connections, updates and hands-on learning to kick off the new Girl Scout year strong.

Join Our Team as an Outdoor Experience Champion

Working for Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont is about much more than a job. It’s about passion and commitment to help girls – all girls – grow into the best version of themselves. It’s about delivering leadership programs for girls, working side-by-side with volunteers to bring the Girl Scout mission to life and forming lasting partnerships in the community.

We are looking for several Outdoor Experience Champions throughout our footprint to supervise and lead exciting activities. As a facilitator working closely with the Outdoor Experience Manager, you will help campers build confidence and lifelong memories. Learn more and apply today!
