“Say Yes to the Vest” and get ready for the Girl Scout year ahead with a new uniform! Shop at the Asheville, Gastonia, Hickory and Triad service centers now through October 29 to enjoy a complimentary drawstring bag and patch with each full uniform purchase! Find our addresses and hours of operation.
Please note that the Pop Up Shop at the Gastonia Service Center will be closed on Thursday, September 24.
The Girl Scout Shop is coming to Denver next week! Join us for a Mobile Uniform Shop on Tuesday, September 29 to “Say Yes to the Vest” and get your new uniform. If you would like the Girl Scout Shop to come to you, make a request using our GSCP2P Shop Form.
Registrations Closing This Week
Did you know that the Girl Scout Destinations program gives girls ages 11+ the opportunity to travel with Girl Scouts from all over the country? Join us virtually for Adventure Awaits! Destination Diaries- Girl Scouts Share Their Adventures on Monday, September 28. Hear from girls who have participated in both local and far-flung Destinations trips and get inside tips on how to fund your travels.
Experience an afternoon of fun, food and community at the Caldwell County Girl Scout Carnival happening on Saturday, September 26 in Granite Falls. Girl Scouts who have a 2026-2027 membership will receive 10 complimentary activity tickets and special activity vouchers when they register for this event. All are invited to discover what Girl Scout fun is about, so invite your friends!
Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors are invited to step into a world of fun and learning on Saturday, October 3 at She Means Business in Hickory! Imagine a life-sized game board where girls become entrepreneurs for a day, making real-world decisions that build leadership and financial skills. Take on exciting roles like CEO, Marketing Expert and Sales Superstar-setting goals, managing money and building customer relationships along the way.
Girl Scout Cadettes can work on earning the Babysitter Badge while learning what it takes to become a safe, responsible and successful babysitter at our virtual Intro to Safe Babysitting course on Thursday, October 8.
All Girl Scout adults are invited to Camp Pisgah October 9-11 for Trainfest: The Road to Oz! Enjoy an adult only weekend at our beautiful camp, connect with other volunteers and recharge for an amazing year ahead. In addition to training certification courses like Basic Camping Skills License and First Aid/CPR, you can also register for a wide variety of enrichment classes in troop leadership, outdoor activities and arts and crafts. Class registrations are a la carte, so you can customize the length of your stay. Adult Financial Assistance will also be automatically applied to all registrations for eligible courses.
Hopper’s Fall Product Tips
The Fall Product Program is a great way for Girl Scouts to learn business skills while earning start up funds for the amazing Girl Scout year ahead. In addition to troop proceeds, Girl Scouts who participate can earn Nut Bucks and other reward items. Plus, troops who participate in the 2026 Fall Product Program and sell at least 100 items will receive an additional $0.05 per package of cookies sold during the upcoming Girl Scout Cookie Program.
It is time to create your avatar and online storefront, and our mascot, Hopper, has some tips for success:
- Make your digital storefront a welcoming place! Show off your style when designing your avatar and enter our avatar fashion show for a chance to be featured on our #WearItWednesday social media posts! Then, record your voice for your avatar or upload a personal video explaining what you would like to do with the money you are earning and thank your customers for visiting your store.
- Send out e-mails early in the program or post on social media to allow maximum time for your customers to make a purchase. Remember, sending 20 e-mails through the M2 system is one of the requirements for earning a personalized avatar patch!
- Encourage your customers to order something for themselves or to give as a gift. They can even donate to our Care to Share service project which will help you earn a special patch and help us stock delicious Honey Roasted Peanuts in our local food banks for the holidays!
Who Will Win the Council Cup?
Join us at Camp Pisgah October 23-25 for a Council-Wide Campout! We’re bringing together Girl Scout troops and families from across the council for an unforgettable weekend filled with magical activities, boating, archery and more. Participate in the Council Cup relay and dress up for the Great Hall Gala and dance under the stars. Exclusive patch, lodging and meals for Saturday and Sunday are all included with registration.

The new Girl Scout year officially starts on October 1! 2025-2026 Girl Scout memberships expire on September 30, and we want you to join us for another year of adventures, badge earning, campfires, laughter, service projects and making memories with friends. There is so much more to explore, so log into your MyGS account to renew your membership for 2026-2027.
Spooky Fun Ahead
Get ready for a spooktacular night of candy, costumes, games, music and family fun! We’ve partnered with other businesses near the Triad service center to bring a Trunk or Treat to the Greensboro community on Friday, October 16. Enjoy creatively decorated trunks, carnival games, inflatables, cotton candy, prizes and more! Come dressed in your favorite costume and bring the whole family for a night of Halloween fun. You can even put a spin on your favorite costume by pairing it with your Girl Scout uniform!

Patch of the Month: Girl Scouts Love State Parks
Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend took place across the country during the second and third weekends in September when Girl Scouts, their families and friends explored local parks through self-guided tours, hikes and special events. Participants earn the official 2026 commemorative patch and checked off activities on the national outdoor passport sheet, but it’s not too late to earn your patch today.
