Troop 2498 of Black Mountain, NC traveled to New York City August 1-5, 2019. These Girl Scouts had a busy trip! They visited Time Square, became pros at riding the subway, saw a Broadway play and did a Broadway workshop, took the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and toured Ellis Island, explored the Museum of Natural History, ate at some amazing restaurants and even met the CEO of Girl Scouts, Sylvia Acevedo! These Girl Scouts had a magical time and cannot wait to travel more as a Girl Scout troop!
