Every spring, Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont (GSCP2P) celebrates it accomplishments and conducts council business during its Annual Meeting. This year, due to the current COVID19 pandemic, GSCP2P held a Virtual Town Hall Meeting in lieu of the in-person event. The event was held on Saturday, April 25 via Zoom.
Registered voting participants of the meeting voted using mailed-in ballots to elect board officers, regional directors, at-large directors, board committee members and delegates and alternates to the National Council Session being held virtually in October.
Also during the program, the board-approved awardees were honored for their dedication to the Girl Scout organization and all they do to bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to their girls and community. You can find this year’s honorees here. Donors and individuals with 15 or more years of service and membership were also recognized.
