Congratulations to MacKenzie Moore from Girl Scout Troop 1608 of Guilford County for earning her Girl Scout Silver Award! She worked with Stagelights Theatre Company to volunteer with children as a peer mentor. She worked as an assistant for the Junior Division’s production of Elf and the Rising Stars Division on Winnie the Pooh, as well as assisting at five of their summer camps. She put in 264 hours of volunteer time working wherever the theater needed- from helping the kids with skits and improv, leading small groups, and most importantly, acting as a role model to the children. Because of her work, the kids felt encouraged to take that first step onto the big stage!
