Based on current data, here are the troop and Service Unit guidelines as of July 23, 2020:
- Troops and Service Units can meet in groups of 10 people maximum inside and 25 people outside. Social distancing and face covering guidelines MUST be strictly followed. If troops are gathering at a local park or church, individual family transportation is preferred. Carpooling MUST include masks at all time. No buffets or shared food. Same guidelines apply to Community Partner programs. (No large group gatherings/programs.)
- Virtual Girl Scout program is still preferred. Refer to the council website for a full listing of provided programs, including badge and journey workshops, summer camp experiences, mailed Kamp Kits and more here: https://www.girlscoutsp2p.org/en/about-girl-scouts/our-program/VirtualGirlScouts.html
- Overnights and troop travel will not be approved through July. If your troop has a large trip or activity planned in August, complete the Troop Travel form and stay in touch with your Troop Experience Manager. Guidelines can change quickly, and we want to be able to approve troop program as soon as we can safely approve programs.
- Curbside pick-up is now available from our Girl Scout Shops. Visit https://girlscoutsp2p.wufoo.com/forms/m1yrt4fj1y1aon2/ to complete our order form and a member of our team will contact you to schedule an appointment. Appointments are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from Noon-5 p.m. and the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Our service centers remain closed until further notice as a cautionary measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
We are evaluating current health and safety regulations weekly and will update our message as soon as there is a change.
